The trust layer
Every project on ArcLens carries a single trust standing — derived from on-chain attestations (the ArcLens registry) plus verification signals. It’s what humans see on a project page, and it’s returned on every Agent API response. It’s also the gate that decides what Lens AI will and won’t pay for.
Trust standings
| Standing | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Arc Official | An official Arc surface or first-party project. |
| Arc Partner | A recognized ecosystem partner. |
| Verified | Identity and ownership verified through ArcLens. |
| Established | A modifier for demonstrated, sustained on-chain activity. Combines with a tier (e.g. Verified · Established). |
| Claimed | Ownership claimed by a wallet, not yet fully verified. |
| Listed | Indexed and live, no ownership claim yet. |
| Risk flagged | Flagged for risk. Excluded from any payout. |
Verification is automatic where signals allow; naming and presentation are optional. The on-chain registry is the source of truth.
Why it exists
The trust layer is what makes the rest of the platform trustworthy and ungameable:
- Lens AI only pays Arc-native builders at the Verified, Established, or Claimed tiers.
- It never pays infrastructure partners, the chain itself, or risk-flagged projects.
- Agents reading the API get the same honest signal a human would.
⚠️
Trust is earned and on-chain — it can’t be bought with a nicer logo. That’s the point.
